The McKenna Ryan Art Quilt and Fabric Showroom is now open! Come visit us on Beautiful Bainbridge Island, WA. At our showroom, you will have an opportunity to view McKenna's original quilts and beautiful fabrics. You will find her patterns, fabric bundles, kits, quilt hangers and more waiting for you! McKenna says, "Just like designing one of my quilts, the showroom will continue to evolve and grow. We will have classes, special events and more and more fabric kits of the original fabrics used in my designs. We want this to be a beautiful place of inspiration and ultimately a place where quilters can gather for retreat, fun and creativity."
With its beautiful quilt draped walls and artfully displayed quilt patterns the showroom is a destination for McKenna fans. See the progression of McKenna's quilts from her early "Brown Bag Classics" to her latest multi-block quilts. Enjoy her exquisite Hoffman screen print and batik fabric lines.
It is a picturesque 35 minute ferry ride from downtown Seattle and only a 5 minute walk once disembarking on beautiful Bainbridge Island. You will find the headquarters for Pine Needles Designs and home to our new showroom at 187 Erickson Ave, Bainbridge Island, WA 98110. Look for the charming building with the purple door!
We will be closed Thanksgiving Day, the day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter and 4th of July.
Parking
Please park in the parking lot to the South of the building (second driveway on the left on Ericksen Avenue when you turn from Winslow Way). The slots on the North (right side) of the parking lot, marked with an MR, are for the McKenna Ryan Showroom. The spaces on the other side of the parking lot are reserved for patients at the Virginia Mason Clinic.
A few times each year, several of our quilts travel to different shows around the world. If you know you will be visiting our showroom, and there is a particular quilt you would like to see, please feel free to contact us to find out whether it will be here on display at that time.
