McKenna's initial inspiration for starting her business (Pine Needles) almost 3 decades ago was the incredible and awe-inspiring nature surrounding her while living in Glacier Park, Montana. She fell in love with the bears and moose and mountain goats, the mountains and osprey and all the little critters in between. She wanted to express it all and found she had a unique talent to do so with fabric so she set out to give the quilting world nature-inspired patterns unlike anything else in the market.

True Nature was created out of McKenna's screen print line, Natural Instincts. Over time, McKenna began creating other types of designs like snowmen and birdhouses but It's never long before she returns to her beloved Northwoods theme she so loves. Her favorite block in this design is "Sushi Bar" where the grizzly bears are feeding on the rocks.

This beauty is big, like the Big Sky Country that inspired it. True Nature measures 66.5" x 82.5".
