A Journey to Light was an inspired creation birthed during a dark period of McKenna's life when she was needing to reach for, hold onto and be reminded of the Light. This quilt, along with a beautiful and heartfelt poem poured out of her and in the end, reminded her that without darkness you can't experience the light. The center block, "Guiding Light," features McKenna's northern star which has since made it's way into all of her Christmas designs. In McKenna's poem below each stanza represents one of the blocks and tells the story of her journey. Quilters throughout the years have told their stories of hope and peace found while recreating McKenna's work, which has been what has inspired McKenna the most to continue creating.

This special quilt measures 49.5" x 53".
