Such a fun and unique design, and McKenna's daughter's all-time-favorite! This quilt was the first to feature 3D elements like the fish hanging off the side of the cabin and the folded upward wing of her osprey. (Truth be known that was a happy mistake, the result of making the wing in reverse of what she initially intended!)

McKenna was featured on HGTV's Simply Quilts with this beauty, showcasing her signature style and applique methods to create her now becoming more intricate designs. On the show, McKenna demonstrates the Applique Pressing Sheet which enabled her to assemble all the delicate petals of her favorite wildflower into one piece to then be easily applied to her background. That said, this quilt as all others McKenna creates was anything but easy from inception to completion. True artistry!

This unique treasure measures 43" x 44".
