"There is no other project that makes me happier than a McKenna Ryan quilt, large or small, laser or traditional cut. McKenna’s ability to capture the wonders of nature with fabric is an amazing talent that is unrivaled. I have been fortunate to have seen many of the animals, scenery, marine life and floral elements McKenna has created with fabric. All the designs capture the majestic scenery, magnificent wildlife and make me feel like I am there. The touch of whimsy sprinkled in her work is so heartwarming it never fails to make me smile.
The art of choosing just the right piece of fabric for each piece is another part of McKenna’s special abilities. I don’t know how you do it, but every kit I have ever gotten, traditional or laser cut has the perfect elements of each fabric for each piece. As so many say, “quilting is my therapy”, for me, it truly is. From beginning to end, any McKenna project is calming, and every piece reminds me of the miracles of nature that are so very special and awe inspiring to me.
